The Challenge
A Florida general contractor managing 12 concurrent commercial projects was coordinating subcontractors via group text and email. Daily progress reports were photos texted to the project manager. RFIs and submittals were tracked in a shared inbox. Change orders were handwritten and faxed. The company had experienced 3 costly disputes with subcontractors in one year due to undocumented verbal approvals. Schedule slippage was discovered late because there was no centralized timeline view across all active projects.

Our Solution
Built a construction project management suite with a Blazor web app for office staff and a mobile PWA for field teams and subcontractors. Features include a Gantt-style schedule builder with dependency tracking daily digital field reports with photo upload RFI and submittal tracking with status workflows change order management with digital signature via DocuSign integration and a subcontractor portal for document submission and payment applications. The executive dashboard shows all 12 projects on a single screen with schedule health budget status and open issues.

The Results
All 3 types of disputes from the previous year (verbal approval conflicts RFI delays change order disagreements) dropped to zero. Project schedule slippage was caught on average 11 days earlier than before. Change order processing time dropped from 5 days to same-day. Subcontractor satisfaction improved measurably — payment application processing time dropped from 3 weeks to 4 days. The PM team handles 12 projects with the same headcount that previously managed 8.
